Boat Shoe Roundup (really)

Iconic boat shoe manufacturer Sebago has teamed up with the creative minds at Cool Cats to release a limited run of stealth Docksides. The all black shoe is a fresh take on the classic. Although I could do without the multicolored lace loops, the end result is still solid.

That being said, I'm still partial to Sebago's biggest competitor, Sperry. These guys have the deck shoe game on lock. Unlike Sebago who have a pretty sleepy brand and even more tired lineup, the guys at Sperry couldn't be more the opposite.

Al Franken Draws US Map from Memory

Senator Al Franken

While I'm still unsure about Senator Franken's ability as a politician, he displayed an impressive skill at the Minnesota State Fair this past weekend. The video below shows Franken drawing a map of the US with all 50 states outlined in startling detail. I'm sure many of his colleagues in Washington couldn't name all the states if they had to.

Fixe is a new fixed gear cycling magazine coming out of France. Hypebeast originally posted this, but made an error when billing it as the French extension to popular UK magazine Fixed. Fixed is an independent publication (and by far one of the best new print products to hit newsstands) while Fixe has been launched by French BMX publisher Cream.
